About this test
Antibodies against sperm can impair movement and prevent fertilisation. They are looked for when a semen analysis shows clumping, after vasectomy reversal or testicular injury, and in couples where no other cause of infertility has been found.
What it measures
- Anti-sperm antibody, serum
A note on results. A single test is one part of a clinical picture, not a diagnosis. Discuss your report with a qualified doctor, who will read it alongside your history and examination.
