Who we are

A diagnosis begins with a measurement. Before a doctor can treat anything with confidence, something has to be counted, imaged or cultured, and that number has to be right. Our entire job is to make sure it is, and to get it to the people who need it quickly enough to matter.

Arham Diagnostics runs from a single centre at Interlace Plaza, Ground Floor, I-8 Markaz, Islamabad, open 24 hours a day, seven days a week — the doors are open at three in the morning. A broad menu of laboratory investigations sits alongside a full imaging service, so the blood work and the scan happen in the same building, on the same visit, read by the same team.

We are a diagnostic service, not a treating one. We do not prescribe, and we have no interest in how many tests you end up having. That independence is the point: our only incentive is for the result to be accurate and for you to understand what it says.

Reports are released only after a qualified pathologist or radiologist has reviewed them. Our phlebotomists are trained and assessed on collection technique, because most laboratory errors happen before a sample reaches the analyser, in how it was drawn, labelled, stored or transported.

Where a result is critically abnormal, a member of our team telephones you, and your doctor where you have given us their details. Nobody waits for an email to be opened.

Every analyser is calibrated and quality-controlled daily before patient samples are run. Internal controls are checked against expected ranges, and out-of-range controls stop the run rather than being noted and worked around.

For most routine work we come to the patient rather than the other way round. Any test that needs a blood, urine or stool sample can be collected at home, at no charge for the visit, and it is handled and reported to exactly the same standard as a sample given at a centre.
