About this test
Both frequently cause no symptoms at all while still damaging the fallopian tubes and causing infertility, which is why testing does not wait for symptoms. NAAT is considerably more sensitive than culture. Testing is confidential.
What it measures
- Chlamydia trachomatis DNA
- Neisseria gonorrhoeae DNA
A note on results. A single test is one part of a clinical picture, not a diagnosis. Discuss your report with a qualified doctor, who will read it alongside your history and examination.
