About this test
Where the ANA screen says antibodies are present, this says what they target — and the target is what names the disease. Anti-Sm points to lupus, anti-Scl-70 to systemic sclerosis, anti-Jo-1 to myositis. Twenty-four antigens are tested on one strip.
What it measures
- Reactivity against each of the 24 antigens on the panel
A note on results. A single test is one part of a clinical picture, not a diagnosis. Discuss your report with a qualified doctor, who will read it alongside your history and examination.
